It's up to River and Rory to protect the injured Amy and Doctor, but River has never realized what a warrior her father is...
The Doctor was down. Amy was bleeding. The horde was advancing. River and Rory stood in front of the others, their backs to a cliff.
"How's he doing?" Rory asked over his shoulder. Amy shifted behind him, the Doctor's head in her lap, a large purple knot showing on his forehead.
"He's breathing, but he won't wake up," Amy said, looking pale herself, she was holding a bloody hand over her equally bloody thigh.
The alien savages clambered up over the boulder strewn scree in front of them. Rory looked up at the slight
It's a soft, early morning. River and the Doctor have stayed over at Amy and Rory's house. They decide to make everyone breakfast. But things get, distracting.
The stair creaked. The Doctor “eeped.”
“Shh, Sweetie, we don’t want to wake up Amy and Rory.” River laid a tender finger over his lips. His eyes big, he nodded. She waved him over to the stairs closer to the wall, where he was less likely to find a loose tread.
Really, it was amazing the man had survived this long.
They padded down the rest of the stairs in Amy and Rory’s house, heading for the kitchen. They had spent the night, at Amy and Rory

Chapter 29
The Doctor stared, a look of wonder on his face. “It’s Hanaii,” he said.
“What's Hanaii?” Amy demanded.
He turned and looked at them with an amazed look on his face, then immediately turned back to the “monster.”
“It’s Hanaii technology.R
How did the Doctor end up with Vastra, Jenny, and Strax after he lost the Ponds and River?
A child dashed out of the alleyway and rebounded off a solid surface. He looked up, his eyes went wide, and he tried to dodge around.
A large hand grabbed him up by the back of his grubby jacket. "Where are you going, Spawn!"
"Let me go! Let me go!" the child flailed and kicked thin, patched-soled shoes at his captor.
"Just a moment," a cultured female voice said. A black gloved hand reached out and intercepted the short metal rod the child was swinging at Strax.
She pulled it away and looked at it. "Where did you get this?" she demanded of the boy
River has arrived in the middle of the night, Rory walks in on a most unexpected scene.
It was the middle of the night. Rory had got up to go to the bathroom, on the way back to his and Amy's room he heard voices echoing down the Tardis corridor.
He followed them to the console room, belting his robe. He found River and the Doctor there, sitting in two chairs on either side of a tiny tea table at the bottom of the entry steps.
He was about to go say hello to River when the Doctor started gesturing widely with his arms, making some emphatic point. River just shook her head and argued back.
They weren't fighting, but Rory couldn't understan
Sequel to "Melody Song"
While River is stuck in the body of a six-year-old, Amy and Rory take advantage of the opportunity to take some baby pictures.
“There! That’s got it!” the Doctor triumphantly flicked a switch and gestured at the monitor.
River, transformed into a six-year-old body by an alien criminal justice system, stretched up on her stepstool and read the monitor screen.
“Oh, is that all?” she asked in her high, piping voice.
“What?” Amy asked from the sidelines, where she and Rory had been watching this child version of River, their child, as she and the Doctor had worked.
River turn
The Doctor and River, cuddled on the hood of a car, overlooking the ocean. What are they up to?
A soft song played on the radio. Moonlight streamed over the ocean. The wind ruffled the leaves in the trees on the clifftop as the Doctor and River lay back against the windshield of the Ferrari and...
"What are you two doing?" Amy demanded as she stomped out of the Tardis, parked under a tree, in her nightgown.
Rory stumbled out after her, belting his robe and yawning. "What's going on?"
River had arrived earlier in the day, not by vortex manipulator, but by Ferrari. She'd grabbed the Doctor and hauled him off yelling, "Important things to do
Summary: River is turned into a child. She's six years old, cute as a button, and pissed off.
River stomped into the Tardis wearing a prison unitard, and seething. Her hair boiled around her head like an angry thunderstorm. Her vortex manipulator hung, clunky, on one slender wrist.
“You’d better be able to reverse this, Sweetie.” She frowned at the high, piping sound of her voice.
The others followed her in. The Doctor ran immediately for the console, his face wearing a sternly repressed, determined expression, fiercely biting down on the corners of his mouth that kept trying to tilt up. If he smiled, he knew he’d l

Chapter 21
“Why can’t we have one of the cranes lower us down?” Rory asked, pointing at one of the industrial cranes that was even now hauling up a container loaded with ore.
“Because the last time we did that, one of the Iguanadons climbed up the cable and nearly got into the community. Abseil lines aren’t strong enough to hold them.”
Rory’s head juttered in a nervous nod. He could understand that. But he still didn’t like it. He looked back
The Doctor, Amy, and Rory always did work well together, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
"We can't all fit!" Rory protested.
"Yes we can, just sling your leg around here," Amy responded.
The Doctor grabbed Rory's legs and pulled them around his waist. "See? No problem. This will be fun!"
"I still think this is a bad idea!" Rory said.
"Just hang on," Amy said, sandwiched between them.
The Doctor started rocking. "Ready?"
'"No!" yelled Rory.
"Here we go!" The Doctor shoved off and the sled plummeted down the hillside. Rory screamed, Amy shrieked in joy, the Doctor grinned and held on, steering.
He leaned left, Amy and Rory leane
